FC Dallas: A Pioneering MLS Club with a Renowned Academy

FC Dallas, a charter club of Major League Soccer (MLS), was founded in 1995 as the Dallas Burn before adopting its current name in 2004. Based in the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex, the team has played at the 20,500-capacity Toyota Stadium in Frisco, Texas, since 2005 and is owned by the Hunt Sports Group. The club has secured notable trophies, including the 2016 Supporters' Shield and two U.S. Open Cup titles in 1997 and 2016, in addition to being MLS Cup runners-up in 2010.
